Hon. Dr. Vindya Persaud MP, Minister of Human Services and Social Security paid a visit to our own Mercy Resident Care Home on Saturday, October, 31. During the visit, she met and chatted with the Residents and Staff of MRC. The Ministry provided lunch for our Residents. We thank the Minister for her visit and do hope she comes again.
She expressed on her social media post about her visit, “I was happy to visit a few homes for the elderly as we concluded Month of the Elderly, today. Along with members of the Elderly Commission, I visited the Dharamshala, Mercy Hospital Resident Care, National Veteran’s Rest Home, and Uncle Eddie’s Home, met and chatted with the residents. Some of them shared so much with me, including the War veterans.”
